Sheila Brannan – Stained Glass Artisan

Sheila’s stained-glass creations all begin as original designs which are brought to life by her use of patterns, textures and a unique understanding of color and light. Her classical training and evolution as an artist bring sophistication, simplicity and excitement to her glass.

 

In addition to her representational designs, and Arts and Craft style work, her signature creations have evolved into brilliant abstract collages, incorporating found objects, copper wire and pipe, geodes, glass chunks, hand-blown glass, antique bottles, and always a splash of whimsy and joy.

 

Custom projects have included Entryways, transoms, sidelights and Skylights; bathroom windows for privacy; kitchen cupboards, a wrap-around design for a sun porch and pet portraits, house portraits – working from a client’s photographs.
