About Cindy:

Cindy found her love of designing jewelry quite by accident.  After dropping off a friend for an appointment, she noticed a bead store across the street.  Recollecting the loss of a beaded earring, she decided to stop in to buy supplies to replicate the lost earring.  While at the store she was invited to participate in pearl stringing class.  It was love at first knot.

This began a journey of stringing cultured and freshwater pearls, which morphed into stinging beads made from semiprecious gemstones, abalone, glass, and crystals. Before long, she was learning to solder to enhance her creations and further design concepts using sterling silver and copper.

Cindy continues to receive instruction by taking classes from local jewelry artist Maya Fredo (Crystal Chick Creations), Erika Blair (Erika Blair Jewelry), and instructors at the Touchstone Center for Crafts.

Natural elements – freshwater pearls, sea glass, gemstones, and clay are among her favorite materials.  Many are gathered from random and remote locations…travel is also a treasured pastime.
