The Ice House Co-op Gallery Jury Process and Standards
The Berkeley Springs Ice House Co-op Gallery showcases the best art and crafts of West Virginia and within a 50-mile radius of our neighboring states. To ensure that only the best handmade fine arts and crafts are available in our retail gallery, each artisan has participated in a jury process.
The Ice House Co-op Gallery seeks artists whose work displays a high level of creativity, expresses original ideas, is unique in design, pays attention to the finest details, displays outstanding craftsmanship, and uses materials of exceptional quality. Prospective artist’s work will be evaluated and critiqued by a panel of jurors consisting of seasoned, senior Co-op Gallery artists who excel and are considered masters, within their specific media type.
If you feel your work satisfies these standards and criteria, please submit an application and several high-resolution photos. Submitting an application and images of your work for critique will determine whether you will be asked to attend an in-person jury session. Evaluation for acceptance and an invitation to join the Ice House Co-op Gallery occurs after the in-person jury.
